I highly recommend choosing Steve Long as your mortgage broker He is the most thorough and efficient man Ive ever met. Nothing is too much trouble, and he explains, what can be, a confusing process with ease, not only by phone but also with a follow up email. If you have any questions, hes more than happy to answer them, even out of business hours. He is the best, I have nothing more to say

Steve was integral to us buying our first home. I can honestly say we wouldn't have bought as soon as we did, nor would the process have gone as smoothly as it did, without his guidance. We spoke to Steve initially to gain an understanding of our savings goals and returned to him once they were achieved. He was never pushy or salesy which was important to us. Steve was able to consider our situation and find the best schemes to use and provided a quality list of potential mortgages for us to choose from. He guided us through the entire process, was always available to talk us through decisions, even when not directly related to the mortgage. When searching for a home loan you need to be able to rely on someone you can trust to be able to present all the options available and give you the right information to make the right decision. Steve Long & Yvette Jalandoni from Mortgage Choice were able to do all of this and more. Steve and Yvette answered all our questions and provided guidance to best products and solutions to help us to both save money and pay off our home sooner. There was not one question too silly or too hard that with their extensive experience and knowledge they were not able to answer confidently which made us feel at ease that we made the right choice using Mortgage Choice. Everything was handled quickly, efficiently and their customer service is the best that we have come across. Steve's advice and help throughout the process has made the whole ordeal (if you have ever had to get home loans and jump through banks hoops before you will know its an ordeal) and process both painless and easy. Steve was so amazing to deal with right from the start. We went in not really knowing much about the home loan process but wanting to learn more (despite already owning a property!). Steve held our hands every step of the way until we were ready to make a decision. He helped us to understand what we needed and wanted in a home loan and we got the perfect loan for us. Steve Long is a consummate professional and excellent at what he does.
Nothing was too much trouble. He checked anything we were unsure of. He was available whenever needed - including evenings and weekends - when the irrational starts to take over and you need that reassurance quickly, quietly and calmly.
He was a joy to deal with and we appreciated his candour and his down to earth ways. Being a Coffs Coast local, he was able to help us locate and make contact with other professionals required (conveyancers and the like) to enable an easy purchase.

Steve made me feel very confident in the process. As a first home buyer I was often unaware about process and procedures but Steve walked me through the whole process step by step. I felt I could ask him questions at any time and as he mentored me through the process. I also appreciated his advice about possible properties I was considering and felt that he always had my best interests at heart. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase or choose a particular deal. Steve was always contactable and approachable and I am so happy with how everything has turned out.
