Hi, I am Stacey Bohm from Mortgage Choice in Narromine.
Here is a little about me?!?!?
I started working for ANZ Bank Dubbo in November 2002, three days after finshing my HSC. I had received a full scholarship to a hospitality school in Sydney, but knew it was going to be an expensive adventure. My intention was to work for 12 months and save money to be able to complete.
Then I started working as a teller and loved the customer interactions, then I quickly moved to be a Customer Service Officer. I then started my degree in Agribusiness and worked part time. Half way through this degree ANZ offered me a position in Moree doing Small to Medium Agribusiness Lending. Agri Lending was one of my favourite things to do and this was a dream job. It wasn't long after I started that they then moved me closer to home but doing the same job. So off I went to Parkes/Forbes area.
After doing this role for two years the opportunity to come back to Narromine/Dubbo area presented itself as a Branch Manager. This is where I met my now husband Kaail. I then did this for two years before being promoted to a much larger branch in Dubbo. After two years Kaail then bought into a Pharmacy in Trangie NSW and this meant limiting opportunities in the bank as I could no longer pack up an move for new opportunities.
So I left the bank that had moulded me into the person I am today. Over the next ten years I have a variety of different small businesses. We got married and had our first little girl Murphy. Not long after this we were given the opportunity to buy into Delroy Pharmacy. This was a challenge that my husband Kaail loved and dove into passionately. He spent six years building a business with blood sweat and tears. Then COVID hit and amoungst the sad news of COVID a second baby decided to join us, a little girl Kennedy or Kenny for short.
After a long period of reflection Kaail decided that own such a large seven day a week pharmacy was not for him and we decided to sell. This process took over 18 mnths and a decision we made for our family. We all had six months off and we bought a caravan and hit the road. Whilst on this adventure I decided I wanted to return to the career that I had loved. Banking had changed in the 12 years I had been away and I decided Broking was something that I could offer to Narromine.
After months of research I decided that Mortgage Choice was an amazing fit for my business and it was the beginning of what set me up for today. I am very priviledged to be apart of the Narromine community and I love being able to help the residents buy properties, refianance and save money.
