Shane Abbott’s many clients benefit from his 30-plus years in the finance industry and passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Shane began his career in the late 1980s, and spent 16 years with Bankwest where he held a range of roles including Personal Relationship Manager, assisting high net-worth clients with their personal banking and lending needs. He became a mortgage broker in 2003. 

‘As a Mortgage Choice broker, I am committed to providing the highest level of customer service as part of the home loan process,’ Shane says.

‘For me, that’s the most enjoyable part of being a mortgage broker – being able to assist people through the process to achieve their goals. It’s then very pleasing to have clients who are appreciative of my efforts to identify and negotiate the most suitable loan option for them.’

Shane believes the home loan process has become even more challenging for borrowers in recent years, and says that having access to a knowledgeable, trusted mortgage broker adds real value for clients. 

‘Taking the time to listen to what my clients need and find the right lending solution that works for them accordingly is paramount to my ability to achieve good outcomes for my clients,’ he says.

Shane is married to Nicole and has three daughters. When he’s not at work, he enjoys fishing, camping and supporting the West Coast Eagles.
