National honour for franchise owner

Tony Schelling is inducted into Mortgage Choice’s Hall of Fame  

Mortgage Choice welcomed Northern Territory franchise owner, Tony Schelling into its esteemed Hall of Fame, at the company’s National Conference held in Alice Springs from 10 – 12 July 2013.  

Recognised for always going above and beyond for his customers, Tony joins former inductee Wendy Higgins from South Australia as the only Hall of Fame members in Mortgage Choice’s 20 year history.  

As the sole Mortgage Choice franchise owner in Northern Territory for 18 years, Tony has won numerous company and industry awards.  

Mortgage Choice CEO, Michael Russell said, “Tony is a role model to many Mortgage Choice franchisees and employees who thoroughly deserves to be rewarded for achieving great results year after year.”  

“His hard work, determination and friendly personality are among the many attributes that have contributed to Tony’s success. We are extremely proud to award him with this highest honour a franchise owner can attain at Mortgage Choice.”  

Commenting on his achievement, Tony said “It is an incredible honour to receive this award, a result of the hard work and sacrifices I have made in order to make my business a success. Special thanks goes to my wife Julie, who has supported and encouraged me every step of the way – I certainly couldn’t have done it without her.”  

“I would also like to thank my great team and the local community for their backing over the years. If it wasn’t for their support both professionally and personally, Julie and I wouldn’t have achieved anywhere near as much in this time.”  

“Finally but not least, a big thank you to Mortgage Choice. This is a company that has grown from strength to strength over the years and has provided me with the tools and brand name on which to base my business.”
