When Rob purchased the Mortgage Choice Blaxland franchise in 2009, it was an opportunity to combine his background as an accountant and financial planner with over twelve years of leadership experience within the local Blue Mountains community.

Rob expanded the business in 2011 after purchasing the neighbouring Mortgage Choice Penrith franchise. More recently, in 2024, Rob and the team expanded into the Sutherland Shire, opening a new franchise based in Cronulla. With offices in Blaxland, Penrith, and Cronulla, the business is now more accessible to the broader Blue Mountains, Penrith, Glenmore Park, and Sutherland Shire regions.

Rob has lived and worked in the area since 1995. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning), and a Diploma in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management). He is also an MFAA Accredited Credit Advisor and Justice of the Peace.

Rob and his wife, Barb, have four adult children and eight grandchildren. Work and family combined keep Rob very busy, and to stay sane, he enjoys cycling, travel, and weekends away.

Christine joined us at the start of 2014 and brings a wealth of experience in office administration, having worked in many different industries, including banking, manufacturing, event management, adult education and human resources.

Christine commenced as PA to our franchise owner, but soon moved into the role of Business Manager, looking after all bookkeeping, accounts, HR and marketing.  More recently, she honed her interior design skills to create our newly built kiosk in the Glenmore Park Town Centre and completely reburbished our upstairs office in Blaxland.

Christine has also co-owned a successful local business for the past twenty years.  She was a resident of Glenmore Park for over 25 years, raising her two young sons to adulthood, but has recently enjoyed a move to the Lower Blue Mountains.  Her latest personal achievements saw her trekking 30 kms in the 2017 Sydney Coastrek, raising over $11,000 for the Fred Hollows Foundation, and in 2018, holding a Trivia Night for local businesses to raise over $6,000 for drought-stricken farmers in Western NSW.

Krystal joined our broking team at the end of 2020.  She comes to us from ANZ with over ten years' experience in home and commercial lending plus a further five years within their branch network. Her extensive knowledge allows her to support our clients across all aspects of their financial needs.

Krystal and her husband have three children and, in her limited spare time, she enjoys singing in a choir and playing netball.

A fun fact about Krystal:  She sang in the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games!

Daniel is the latest broker to join our team. He comes to us with over 14 years’ experience in the finance and banking industry.  As well as having worked for one of the big four banks, Daniel has previously held roles with Mazda and the NSW Police Force.

Having worked in many customer service positions during his career, Daniel knows what makes an exceptional customer experience and is planning on leaving his mark in this space.

Daniel was born and grew up in the local Penrith area and now resides in Glenmore Park with his lovely wife.

Aside from mortgage broking, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and supporting his rugby league team, the mighty Penrith Panthers!

Rhonda's extensive knowledge of the home loan process means she is able to provide a valuable service to our customers by helping them choose the home loan that best suits their needs.

Rhonda takes all of the leg work out of finding a home loan and makes the application process a whole lot simpler for our clients.

Rhonda grew up and has settled in the Blue Mountains with her husband and their two adult children.  She has over twenty years experience in the financial services industry, most of these being with Mortgage Choice at Blaxland.

Lina joined our team in August 2020 as Client Service Manager, assisting our clients with their post-settlement needs, such as interest rate reviews and loan variations.

Lina has over thirteen year's experience with CBA within their retail banking, insurance, financial planning and financial hardship sectors. Her work has seen her move to Melbourne and back to Sydney and she now lives locally with her husband and their two young sons.
