Additionally, it is conveniently located close to Cardiff railway station and only a five-minute drive from Warners Bay.
Macquarie Hills is a residential suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia, located 15 kilometres west of Newcastle's central business district near the northern end of Lake Macquarie between the town centres of Cardiff and Warners Bay.
Shopping options Macquarie Rd Cardiff is home to Woolworths. Coles and Bi-Lo is in nearby Kelton St and ALDI is in Harrison St.
Transport Cardiff railway station is located on Main Rd, Cardiff. The area is well serviced by buses, including Newcastle Buses and Hunter Valley Buses. Cardiff is 12 minutes’ drive from the F3 Sydney – Newcastle Freeway.

Just on a personal note that Macquarie Hills, Warners Bay, Speers point have direct access to Munibung Hill. A bit of wilderness natural beauty in the middle of suburbia. I have explored, walked all 12 trails of Munibung Hill.
Lake Macquarie residents are truly blessed to have this on there doorstep.
