Richard is great
Recently I made the decision to apply to refinance my home.
I decided to contact Richard and am very happy i did. From start to end, he was very helpful and always happy to answer any questions i had. This was a bit complicated for me, but Richard was able to provide all the assistance and guidance i needed so i could make informed decisions. I would definitely refer anyone onto Richard and I know I will be giving him a call when I need anything down the track. Richard Denholm was fantastic! If it wasn’t for him going above and beyond, we would certainly have had major issues come settlement as he picked up on an issue by our own conveyancer and as such, we were able to rectify the issue in a timely manner. We found Allan Leedham to be very helpful and contactable kept us informed during the very long process. We will say it's very disappointing that people that live on King Island can only borrow 70%, we can not see the reasoning behind this at all, our money is the same value as anywhere else in Australia. We should be assesed with the sames values.
Our first adviser unfortunately was unable to help, we were then provided Lee Utting as an advisor, who was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any queries. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lee as an advisor.

Couldn\'t fault Richard in the slightest. He was very helpful and kept me in the loop the whole time. I probably called him dozens of times because I have never been through this process before and he always answered or called me back straight away and was very patient with me!

I came to Richard on a Monday and by Thursday my mortgage was all signed sealed and approved. Time was a big factor as we were competing with another buyer and three days for approval must be some type of record. Richard understood our needs and was always on hand through the entire process for any questions we had. Not only was it approved in record time but we got a great competitive interest rate aswell.

Richard provided very good service throughout the brokerage service, and I appreciate the work taken by him.
However, one issue did arise, as my new home loan started charging my an $8 per month offset account fee. I had on more than one occasion verbally confirmed with Richard that the offset account would be free, unfortunately I did not pick up his mistake in the supporting documentation supplied - which was my mistake.
Richard admitted to not being aware of the fees for the offset account, and tried to rectify the situation with the new bank, but the offset account fee could not be waived. He also highlighted that the new loan was cheaper than the former, but did not comment on whether an alternate loan would have been cheaper.
Except for this issue, Richard provided outstanding service. However, given an unwillingness to acknowledge and take responsibility for the mistake (one I admit I should have picked up), I can not recommend him to friends & family, as I\'d expect detail orientation to be key for a broker.

Well, we really don't know where to start. Richard Denholm bent over backwards for us. We can't speak highly enough of Richard. Nothing was too difficult. He worked long and hard for us. Our loan/s were a bit more complex than the usual home loan, but this did not deter Richard. To say the least we are 110% happy with Richard and would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Richard to other friends and acquaintances. Having a home on a commercial property for some reason made it extremely difficult for me to secure a loan. i was knocked back by the CBA of whom I had been a customer for 20 years. It seemed every broker i went to saw securing a loan with a commercial property would be difficult and as such none of them could get me one. Having not had any previous experience with mortgage brokers in the past and having only dealt with Banks previously, I thought I would try the services of a home loan broker but not quite sure what I would find. Fortunately, I met Richard, I found his services to be fantastic and he was very professional, I now consider him to be a friend. I would highly recommend him and I have done so to others.
Richard made himself availabloe all hours and on a public holiday. I havge recommedened him to several others already. Very pleased.
Richard was a great person to deal with and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. One of the best things was that he came to us whenever we needed to sign anything. This was perfect for us as we have five kids (only three at school).
