Jo is an experienced Mortgage Broker, and now Owner/Director, who started off working as a Broker at Mortgage Choice in Springwood QLD in 2012 and subsequently took over the branch in 2016. Since then, Jo has grown the business, taken on another franchise in Tweed Coast/Northern NSW and in July 2022 sold the Springwood franchise to focus on her beautiful community in Kingscliff.

As an educator by trade, previous to mortgage broking, Jo has a wonderful ability to explain finance in everyday language, making concepts clear and accessible. Jo is passionate and dedicated, and works hard to ensure that all clients have a solution that best fits their individual needs.  Exceptional client service and making the home loan process easy and enjoyable are what's most important to Jo.

It was this love of education and exceptional client service, as well as helping clients achieve their dreams and home ownership goals that led  Jo to purchase both Mortgage Choice in Springwood, and her second franchise servicing Gold Coast, Tweed and Northern NSW.

Outside of work Jo loves spending time with her husband and son, catching up with friends, finding good coffee and travelling to new locations. Jo is also an experienced dancer, and has been awarded National Champion for her age in 2023.

Michaela brings extensive knowledge of the home loan application process, backed by over three years of experience in the finance industry. With a background at a prestigious international law firm and qualifications including a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, she combines expertise with a client-focused approach.

Dedicated to exceptional customer service, Michaela ensures each loan application is handled with precision, efficiency, and care. She specialises in gathering the right information and coordinating with lenders to make the process as smooth as possible.

Kai has recently joined the team at Mortgage Choice, bringing a strong commitment to client care and relationship building. After settlement, he will be in touch to ensure our clients continue to receive the support they need. From annual check-ins to regular rate reviews, Kai is dedicated to making sure our clients are well looked after for the life of their loan.

Despite being one of the younger members of the team, Kai has valuable experience in building relationships and working collaboratively. Outside of work, he is a talented all rounder cricketer, competing for NSW at state level and representing Manly in Sydney’s Premier club cricket scene.
