Yes, the wine region is wonderful, the Stirling Village is breathtaking the Adelaide Hills in South Australia offer a diverse range of attractions and experiences, from picturesque landscapes to gourmet food and wine. Here are some of the things I love about living and working with my local communities in the Adelaide Hills:

Scenic Landscapes: The Adelaide Hills are known for their stunning natural beauty. You can enjoy rolling hills, lush vineyards, and native forests, which are especially captivating during the spring and autumn seasons.

Hahndorf: This charming German-influenced town holds a special place in my heart. You can explore its historic architecture, boutique shops, art galleries, and indulge in traditional German cuisine and beer.

Wineries and Cellar Doors: The Adelaide Hills region is famous for its cool-climate wines. I enjoy that I can visit numerous wineries and cellar doors to taste exceptional Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines. My favourite wineries include Shaw + Smith, Bird in Hand, and The Lane Vineyard.

Crafers and Stirling: Nothing beats a hot coffee on a cold winter day in these towns. They offer delightful boutiques, artisan stores, and cafes. Stirling is known for its beautiful gardens, and Crafers has a great range of local art and crafts.

Mount Lofty Summit: For panoramic views of the region, I enjoy family hikes to the Mount Lofty Summit. It's also a great spot for sunsets and offers various walking trails for different fitness levels.

I am an animal lover, whether it is my horses, dogs, cats or fish, but nothing beats the Cleland Wildlife Park: Get up close and personal with Australian wildlife at Cleland Wildlife Park. You can feed kangaroos, cuddle koalas, and observe various native animals in their natural habitats.

Food and Dining: The Adelaide Hills are a foodie's paradise. You can savour locally sourced and seasonal produce at restaurants, cafes, and farmers' markets. I can't go by an artisan cheese platter, locally made chocolate, and apple pies.

Famous all over the world, Beerenberg Farm is located in my backyard at Hahndorf, Beerenberg Farm is where my family have picked strawberries and enjoyed homemade jams, sauces, and condiments for many years.

Arts and Culture: I am always amazed at the Adelaide Hills and the vibrant arts and cultural scene. You can explore art galleries, craft studios, and participate in local events and festivals.

Historical Sites: you never need to travel too far to visit historical sites like the Uraidla and Summertown churches, both over a century old, to get a glimpse into the region's history.

The Hills are Alive with local Festivals: The Adelaide Hills hosts a range of festivals throughout the year, including the Crush Festival celebrating food and wine, and a local favourite, the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival, a major horse racing event.
