Ian Marchant has worked as a secondary school teacher for the best part of 20 years, teaching Commerce, History, Geography, and Society & Culture. As an avid traveller, Ian has explored large parts of the world and has gained an immense amount of life experience in doing so.
He's always had a strong interest in finance and has worked with banks to complete multiple property developments both in Sydney and Dubbo.
Outside of work, Ian is the President of the Macquarie Junior Cricket Club. His hobbies include Cricket, Football, travelling (mostly now as a taxi service for his 3 boys around the countryside for cricket and footy).
