Saving a deposit for your first home loan

Saving the deposit for your first home can be a tall order. In the past, first home buyers needed a 20% deposit to cover the cost of buying. But that's not the case anymore! You can buy for a lot less, and together with Government schemes and incentives, you could even buy your first home with as little as a 5% deposit.
