With a strong foundation in real estate and over three years of experience working alongside a seasoned mortgage broker, Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients' mortgage journey. Running her own business for four years also gave Taylor firsthand exposure to transactions from multiple perspectives, ensuring she understands the full landscape of buying and financing a home.

Taylor's commitment to customer service and experience is at the heart of everything she does—Taylor makes sure to treat every client as a family member, going above and beyond to create a seamless and supportive process.

Outside of work, Taylor is a devoted dog lover, fitness enthusiast (you'll often find her at the gym), and a bit of a puzzle solver—Taylor lives for crosswords! Fun fact: Taylor survived a run-in with a ceiling fan at age five, and she's been dodging obstacles with a smile ever since.

Mortgage Broker & Multiple Franchise Owner

Matt began his career in finance and entrepreneurship in 2004 with a retail banking role at ANZ in New Zealand. In 2006, he moved to ANZ Australia, where he advanced to a supervisory role before transitioning to a mortgage specialist position in 2007.

In 2009, he joined Mortgage Choice in Brisbane City as a loan writer and quickly progressed to general management by 2011. In 2015, Matt became the owner of Mortgage Choice Brisbane City and later expanded to acquire franchises in Brisbane City, Brisbane North, and Newstead. Alongside Matt's mortgage business, he founded The Proper Group in 2020, a property management company focused on leveraging technology to improve client experience. 

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Hanna, and two children, Chase and Miller. Matt is passionate about motorsport, Crossfit, and supporting the Brisbane Broncos. 

Matt's dedication to effective leadership and client experience is what makes him a great part of the Newstead office.

Multiple Franchise Owner & Office Manager

Hanna is a proud franchise owner at Mortgage Choice, a position she has passionately held since 2015. In her role, Hanna leads a dynamic team, both onshore and offshore, with a strong focus on prioritising their well-being. With a keen eye for detail, she excels in event management and marketing, ensuring smooth operations and successful execution of key initiatives.

Hanna’s greatest strength lies in her exceptional communication skills. She thrives on engaging with people, listening to their stories, and learning from their experiences, creating meaningful connections with clients and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, Hanna is a devoted mother to her two children, Miller and Chase , and shares her home with two rescue cats, reflecting her compassionate nature. Hanna also enjoys attending CrossFit and Pilates classes, which provide a valuable balance to her demanding professional life.

Lexi McGahan is Head of Marketing at Mortgage Choice Newstead, where she excels at blending creativity with organisation through some admin work. In her role, Lexi applies her creative skills to marketing initiatives, consistently introducing fresh, innovative ideas. Her attention to detail and methodical approach ensures that administrative tasks are efficiently managed, contributing to the smooth operation of the office.

Lexi’s ability to think outside the box and her strong organisational skills make her an invaluable asset to the team, helping to enhance the company’s marketing efforts and ensure administrative processes are executed seamlessly.

Jesica Yap is a skilled mortgage support professional dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction. With a keen eye for detail, she ensures all loan application information is accurate and meets required standards, minimising errors and enhancing successful outcomes.

Her friendly, approachable nature helps build strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence throughout the process. Jesica is always available to address concerns, offering prompt, reliable support.
