First held in 1955, the Rejex Rally was reportedly held in response to the Redex Around Australia Trial missing Darwin in that year. A group of Darwinites put together the cleverly named Rejex Rally and did a trip to Katherine for the horse racing. After a break, a 40th Anniversary Event was held and "The Rejex" has been held each year since.

The Rejex Classic Rally comprises cruising, social activities, navigational and treasure hunt activities and low speed driving tests. These have included diverse tasks such as simulating a 1950’s style fuel service, attempt to reverse as close to a marker as possible without reversing cameras and without making contact, and correctly driving around markers whilst a navigator gives non-verbal instructions from outside the car.

The Rejex Classic Rally is a family-friendly event for car enthusiasts and vehicles of all ages to get together, cruise and socialise, enjoy fun challenges and celebrate a common love of cars & motoring.

Adam has been involved with the Rejex Classic Rally since 2001, first as a driver and from 2019 transitioning to event management, and is proud to support this event through Mortgage Choice Darwin City.
