Mortgage Broker
As a ‘glass-half-full’ type of person, Sunny is a positive, highly organised and proactive personal mortgage broker. He works with an emphasis on great communication and intelligent business systems to expedite the lending process for clients across Cairns, the Tablelands and Far North Queensland.
“I believe that effective communication is the most important aspect of customer service,” Sunny explains. “A client of mine will never be left guessing what comes next or where they are currently at in the process. Information is always presented clearly and on time. I believe in touching base with regular updates.”
Sunny’s approach is informed not just by professional experience and knowledge, but by his own personal journey as a borrower and property buyer. “Late last year, with the assistance of a broker, I purchased a home for myself and my family. Having lived through this experience, I am aware of the challenges faced when attempting to get into the market and take pride in assisting others to overcome these hurdles.”
Approachable, responsive and reliable, Sunny’s goal is to make the process as easy and stress free as possible for every client. He prides himself on attention to detail and timely communication with both clients and lenders, to consistently deliver positive outcomes. “It is a great feeling to achieve the perfect transaction where everything just goes right. This is done with perfect preparation and planning.”
Growing up on a rural property in Far North Queensland (approximately 11 hours north of Cairns) Sunny has spent much time with remote and local Indigenous communities. “I am strongly aware of the difficulties people in rural communities face on a day-to-day basis and can communicate well with people from all walks of life,” he says. Sunny moved to Cairns to attend high school, and is now a long-term resident.
Throughout his career, Sunny has gained a large amount of industry experience and financial knowledge. “Before becoming a mortgage broker, I spent over five years in the motor trade – starting out in sales before becoming a finance and insurance manager,” he says. “I also spent over five years in the general insurance industry as both an agent and a broker.”
Sunny can assist with home loans, investment loans, car loans, personal loans and asset finance. He offers a mobile service, and travels in a 4×4 which enables access to clients remote/rural areas.
